The last few weeks have been crazy. The holidays are always a stressful time of year and that has been made more challenging by Heather, our wonderful virtual assistant for the last 3 years deciding to move on to other opportunities. This has meant that not only have I been busy with surgery, but also I have to do ALL the things that someone else usually does for me- not good or sustainable!
EAHelp (the company I have used for the last 3 years) initially found someone for me, but unfortunately she was not a good fit hence the reason why I have to do a lot of extra work right now. Rachel, the person we are onboarding today sounds like she will be a great addition to our team but needless to say it will take a little time to get her up to speed.
In the past, my tendency when things get crazy is to just work harder and longer but instead I am giving myself the gift of grace. Realizing if I don’t “get it all done” the way I think I am supposed to it will be okay! Actually, it will likely be good because I will have a bit more time during this crazy season to focus on what it is supposed to be about and to connect with my family and friends!
What this means for you is that I am going to have to take a short break from blogging in order to get Rachel up to speed and get our team headed in the right direction. I am guessing we will be back in the swing of things come mid-January.
Until then, if you have not done so, please feel free to join our closed Facebook group.
I look forward to a great 2015 and if there is anyway I can help you, please feel free to reach out.
Thanks for your support and understanding!
