I’m Dr. Rebecca Tudor, a board certified veterinary surgeon with a passion for leadership. I’ve been involved in veterinary medicine for most of my life – starting in my parents’ animal hospital where I spent countless hours caring for animals and assisting in surgeries. From an early age, a veterinarian was all I ever wanted to be.
I graduated from the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and completed an internship at the University of Georgia before returning to NCSU for my surgical residency. I became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2000 and, after one year in private practice in South Carolina, returned again to NCSU.
In November 2002, I established Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialists with the mission of providing the same surgical excellence and compassionate service I and my team would want for our own pets.
When I began my practice, I did not realize how important developing my leadership skills would be to the success of my practice. Thanks to some influential people in my life, I was able to see that I was indeed the “rate limiting step” in the success of my practice, and if I continued to develop my own leadership skills, then my business would also continue to grow. This has been proven to me time and time again over the last 11 years.
I’m committed to becoming the best leader I can be, and I want to help you become the best leader you can be, as well. CatalystVETS was birthed from a passion to see other veterinarians create the professional and personal lives that they desire. As a Certified Personal Behavioral Analyst through Target Training International, I am uniquely equipped with the tools to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses and use them to your advantage in creating a fulfilling career and lifestyle.
Currently, I reside in Louisburg, NC with my husband, son, daughter, and a collection of our animals. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, Crossfit, and cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.
